Your Mission
Project Finance Manager – Aqaba
SUEZ is seeking a Project Finance Manager to support the construction of a large-scale seawater desalination plant in Aqaba, Jordan.
This strategic project aims to strengthen Jordan’s water security through the production of potable water from the Red Sea, using advanced desalination technologies. The project represents a major financial, contractual, and operational commitment, requiring strong financial governance and performance monitoring throughout its lifecycle.
As Project Finance Manager based in Jordan, you will be responsible for the financial management and control of the project, ensuring its economic performance for the execution phase.
Responsibilities
- Acting as a key business partner to the Project Manager to drive financial performance and decision-making.
- Establishing and monitoring the project budget, forecasts, and financial planning.
- Ensuring strict control of costs, cash flow, and project profitability.
- Implementing and maintaining robust financial reporting and control processes.
- Supporting contract management by analyzing financial risks and opportunities.
- Producing regular, accurate, and transparent financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Managing variations, claims, and financial impacts in coordination with the project team.
- Ensuring compliance with internal financial procedures and local regulations.
- Supporting procurement and subcontracting teams with financial evaluation and follow-up.
- Contributing to risk management and mitigation strategies from a financial perspective.
Your Profile
- Minimum 10 years in finance management of large-scale infrastructure projects (EPC / Design & Build), ideally in desalination, water treatment, or industrial projects.
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Engineering with a strong financial background.
- Strong expertise in project financial control and cost management.
- Solid understanding of EPC contracts and project economics.
- Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills.
- Strong ability to anticipate financial risks and propose mitigation measures.
- Proven ability to work in complex, multicultural project environments.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Results-oriented with high attention to detail and reliability.
- Languages: Fluent in English
