Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead high-profile federal public health communication campaigns. The Project Manager will oversee all administrative, technical, and strategic aspects of the project, ensuring that deliverables are high quality, compliant, and on schedule. This role requires strong leadership, cross-functional coordination, and expertise in health communications and public relations. The job will be hybrid, mostly remote. Any in-person meetings will be held at a TBD location in the DC Metro Area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day contract administration and delivery of project tasks and products.
  • Manage technical, marketing, and writing teams in the design and development of contract deliverables.
  • Lead the planning and execution of marketing, promotion, advertising, and information-gathering projects.
  • Facilitate effective team meetings and client engagements, maintaining proactive communication with the COR.
  • Provide strategic direction based on principles of social marketing and public health communication.
  • Ensure all products and services meet quality standards, deadlines, and compliance requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in public health, communications, marketing, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum 7–10 years of project management experience in health communications, government contracting, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of social marketing principles and health communication practices.
  • Experience with federal health agencies and knowledge of current public health issues.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP certification or equivalent project management training is a plus.
  • Experience managing subcontractors and dispersed teams.
  • Familiarity with Section 508 compliance and government reporting requirements.
