Project Manager/Lead Engagement Specialist

Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is actively seeking a skilled Project Manager/Lead Engagement Specialist to join our team.

This is a 12-month contract supporting a federal government agency. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities

• Manage project delivery, stakeholder engagement, KPI reporting, training oversight, and change management.
• Provide leadership and direction in overall program management.
• Coordinate technical teams, manage program performance, and ensure all contract deliverables meet government stakeholder expectations.
• Oversee project execution across various technical challenges.
• Maintain project schedules, manage staffing, and solve technical dependencies to achieve performance goals.
• Implement quality control measures across all operational areas.
• Regularly update and maintain essential program documentation.
• Monitor program risks and create strategies for mitigation to ensure mission success.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in leading federal or enterprise-wide programs.
• A minimum of 10 years of facilitating workshops for executive stakeholders.
• 10 or more years of experience in data/business intelligence initiatives.
• At least 10 years of experience managing change processes effectively.
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field
• Must possess or qualify for a Public Trust (MBI).
• U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
• A current U.S. passport is necessary.
