About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Python Software Engineer with a strong backend focus to join our team. This role offers the flexibility of remote work within Ireland and Northern Ireland, with a requirement to be on-site one day per month.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Python.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring the stability and performance of the platform.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development processes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Python Software Engineer, with a focus on backend development.
• Strong understanding of Python and its associated frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask).
• Experience with database technologies (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
