Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to lead the design, development, and execution of robust testing strategies for cloud-based web applications. This role requires strong expertise in test automation, API testing, and quality engineering practices, along with the ability to work in complex, cross‑functional environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and implement comprehensive test strategies, frameworks, and best practices aligned with organizational goals and industry standards
  • Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and automation scripts for cloud‑based and web applications
  • Perform various types of testing including functional, regression, end‑to‑end (E2E), performance, security, and usability testing
  • Develop and maintain test automation frameworks to improve efficiency and scalability
  • Conduct API testing using REST endpoints to validate backend services
  • Monitor, triage, and resolve production incidents, ensuring timely escalation and resolution
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for defects and production issues, and implement preventive measures
  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams to ensure high‑quality deliverables
  • Track and report defects, test metrics, and quality insights to stakeholders
  • Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and automation capabilities

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 10+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years in software testing/QA
  • Strong experience in test automation and quality engineering
  • Hands‑on experience with web application testing in cloud environments
  • Proficiency in API testing (RESTful services)
  • Experience with test management and defect tracking tools
  • Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and QA processes

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including logs and storage services
  • Knowledge of automotive systems testing, including CAN signals and embedded integration testing
  • Familiarity with vehicle electrical concepts (e.g., PWM, logic gates)
  • Experience with test‑driven development (TDD) or similar practices
