Responsible for investigating and verifying software issues raised by clients, prioritizing against the client's business requirements, planned future development and available resources. Roles & Responsibilities

Must be able to conduct manual testing tasks on his own, Identify Bugs & should be able to write test cases and execution reports

Should be able to report issues back to development team in precise manner, be able to identify and reproduce the issue reported by customer

Should be able to monitor applications and software systems

Actively get involved in the test planning process.

Identify Test cases based on current and future process mentioned in the Specification documents

Identify, log and track issues until resolution.

Work in an agile rapid development environment where effective communication is paramount.

Work with development teams as a tester (manual and automated) to reproduce, analyze and debug issues for all projects and support tickets prior to a release into production.

Work collaboratively with development teams and business partners who participate in user acceptance testing (UAT).

Actively participates with the team fulfilling task assignments to meet deadlines and team goals.

Analyze test needs for user stories and develop test specifications or test cases.

Maintain and adhere to the established standards and procedures for test plans/cases as needed and monitor for compliance by coordinating with IT business analysts (BA), team members and business owners.

Executes test cases manually (as needed) based on business requirements.

Set-up and facilitate QA related meetings, demos, and UAT sessions.

Use Confluence and Jira to track work items and document issues needing resolution.

Follow the error/issue/bug creation and tracking process for consistency across teams.
