About the role

As a detail-oriented and tech-savvy QA Engineer Intern, you will be integrated into the sprint cycles from day one to help ensure that the software is robust, scalable, and bug-free. Your existing knowledge of testing life cycles and automation frameworks will be leveraged to contribute effectively to our engineering team.

**Key Responsibilities:** - Collaborate with developers to understand feature requirements and create comprehensive test plans. - Execute manual regression tests for new releases. - Write, maintain, and execute automated test scripts to increase our test coverage. - Identify, log, and track defects in [Jira/Trello/GitHub]. - Participate in daily stand-ups and provide feedback on UI/UX from a quality perspective.

**Qualifications Required:** - Foundational QA Knowledge: A strong understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and bug reporting workflows. - Automation Familiarity: Hands-on experience or academic projects involving automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium. - Scripting Skills: Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, or JavaScript. - Analytical Mindset: An obsession with 'breaking' things to make them better and the ability to think through edge cases. - Technical Literacy: Basic understanding of API testing using Postman and Version Control with Git.

Duration: 12 Months with a PPO Conversion Opportunity before the 12-month mark.
