QA Engineer - Playwright Automation - Senior

Role Overview: As a QA Automation Engineer at Kore.ai, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining end-to-end test automation to ensure a high-quality and reliable enterprise-grade AI platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to validate complex features, services, and workflows, while contributing to scalable and efficient automation frameworks. Your role will involve active participation in designing test strategies, developing automated test suites, and ensuring product quality through continuous testing and integration. Your focus will be on hands-on automation, problem-solving, and collaboration to support the delivery of robust AI-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities: - Actively participate in daily QA stand-ups, align on priorities, and communicate progress or blockers effectively. - Contribute to the implementation and improvement of automation strategies for web, API, and data validation across products. - Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation solutions using Python/TypeScript, utilizing Behave for BDD and Playwright for reliable and high-performance end-to-end testing. - Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Git). - Execute and maintain automated test suites, ensuring stability and reliability of test results. - Analyze test failures, debug issues, and work closely with teams to identify root causes and validate fixes. - Contribute to improving test coverage and identifying gaps in testing early in the development lifecycle. - Stay updated with emerging trends in QA, including AI/ML testing and automation tools, and apply learnings where relevant. - Support quality initiatives such as test data setup, environment readiness, and basic performance validation.

Qualification Required: - Bachelors in engineering or Masters in computer applications
