Requirements
- We are seeking an experienced Tester to support a U.S. Postal Service (USPS) program in a fully remote capacity
- This role is hands-on and execution-focused, requiring strong backend testing experience, the ability to work independently in a fast-paced Agile environment, and excellent communication skills
- The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working with complex data and systems, and has a proven track record of successfully supporting remote teams under tight delivery timelines
- 5 years of total professional experience
- U.S. Citizenship required by federal contract
Responsibilities
- Execute hands-on functional, integration, and backend testing (not limited to web UI testing)
- Review and interpret functional and technical requirements to design effective test coverage
- Develop and execute detailed test scripts, including expected outcomes
- Create, manage, and maintain test data to support validation efforts
- Document defects, issues, and test results using ALM or similar tools
- Provide daily status updates and communicate findings clearly via email and meetings
- Manage multiple priorities and deadlines, including monthly functional releases and twice-monthly reference data patches
- Work collaboratively with developers, analysts, and other testers in an Agile SDLC environment
- Adhere to aggressive delivery timelines while maintaining high quality standards
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and accountability in a remote work setting
