The Work

Our Radar Systems Engineering team is seeking a candidate to support architecture, design, Concept of Operations, requirements development, analysis, and implementation of high performance Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radar systems.

In your role as a Sensor Systems Architect, you will: • Perform concept of operations design, radar behavior definition, and associated requirements development to drive radar capability implementation across radar subsystems. • Successfully collaborate with subsystem teams to define clear, executable, and testable approaches for meeting mission success criteria • Conduct trade studies and analyze the radar system level performance impacts to support and evaluate design decisions • Develop and present detailed design documentation • Represent the organization on contracts and interface with internal and external customers, program and senior leadership, and multi-disciplinary teams on significant technical matters. • Apply strong analytical and communication skills in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment

#REAS Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor‘s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Physics or equivalent degree combined with 5 years of related experience, or a Master‘s degree with 3 years of related experience - Functional knowledge of radar systems and subsystems - Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following areas: system analysis, architecture, requirements development, trade studies, modeling and simulation, or integration and test. - High proficiency in C++ or Matlab or Python - U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain a DoD Secret level clearance Desired Skills: - Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Physics or equivalent - Radar systems development experience including signal processing, antenna patterns, detection/tracking/discrimination algorithms, software, data analysis, and modeling & simulation - Experience leading technical teams and collaboration across multi-disciplinary teams - Demonstra
