Key Responsibilities
A. Pod Operations & Leadership
- Build, lead, and mentor a pod of 3-5 members (TA Associates, Sourcers, QA/Vetting Coordinators) as a self-contained delivery unit
- Establish daily standup rhythms, weekly pod reviews, and monthly retrospectives with clear pod-level KPIs: fill rate, time-to-submit, client NPS, expert retention rate
- Implement a Kanban/sprint-based workflow for requirement tracking, candidate pipeline management, and delivery milestones
- Own pod capacity planning - forecast demand by client/vertical, identify skill gaps, and coordinate with HR for pod expansion or cross-training
- Drive pod-level automation: leverage SAIRA for AI-assisted vetting, LinkedIn Recruiter for sourcing, and CRM for pipeline management
B. Client-Facing Delivery & Account Management
- Serve as the primary delivery POC for 5-12 active client accounts across AI labs, enterprise AI practices, and data annotation partners
- Conduct structured requirement intake calls with client stakeholders (AI PMs, Data Ops leads, Research Scientists)
- Develop and present Talent Availability Reports, Market Intelligence Briefs, and Supply Forecasts to clients on a bi-weekly basis
- Own the client delivery SLA: time-to-first-profile (48 hrs standard / 24 hrs priority), time-to-fill, quality pass rate, and replacement turnaround
- Run weekly client syncs to review pipeline health, escalate blockers, and proactively propose expert profiles
- Build deep, trust-based client relationships so Sourcebae is positioned as a strategic supply partner - not a transactional vendor
C. Expert Sourcing, Vetting & Deployment
- Lead sourcing strategy for credentialed domain experts across healthcare, legal, finance, and engineering verticals
- Execute multi-channel sourcing campaigns: LinkedIn Recruiter, academic networks, professional body partnerships, referral programs, and reactivation of Sourcebae's 10,000+ candidate pool
- Oversee SAIRA-assisted vetting workflows: credential verification, domain skill assessment, AI annotation readiness evaluation, and cultural fit checks
- Build and maintain a live Expert Bench - a pre-vetted, deployment-ready pool segmented by vertical, language, timezone, and annotation skill level
- Coordinate expert onboarding, NDA execution, compliance documentation (ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA), and project-specific training
D. Process Design & Continuous Improvement
- Design and document the end-to-end Pod Operating Playbook: SOPs for requirement intake, sourcing, vetting, client communication, escalation, and delivery reporting
- Build standardized JD templates and expert persona cards for recurring client requirements across all 22 verticals
- Implement a data-driven delivery review cadence: weekly dashboards, monthly scorecards, quarterly delivery audits
- Collaborate with the SAIRA Product team to provide feedback loops on vetting accuracy and pilot AI-assisted candidate matching features
E. Market Intelligence & Strategic Input
- Track competitive landscape: monitor Micro1, Alignerr, Mercor, Turing, and Scale AI for talent supply positioning and pricing signals
- Provide ground-level intelligence to Sales and Leadership on supply-side constraints, emerging expert categories, and market rate benchmarks
- Contribute to ICP refinement by sharing client feedback patterns, requirement gaps, and vertical-specific delivery challenges
Ideal Candidate Profile
Must-Have Qualifications
- 4-6 years of experience in recruitment, talent delivery, or talent operations - with at least 2 years in a client-facing or account delivery role
- Proven experience managing a recruitment pod/team of 3+ members with direct accountability for pod-level delivery metrics
- Strong understanding of technical/specialized hiring: AI/ML engineers, domain experts (medical, legal, finance), or niche technology roles
- Demonstrated ability to manage 5+ concurrent client accounts with SLA-dr
