Your Responsibilities

In our Private Banking Europe organization, we are looking for a Regulatory Business and Project Manager Europe 80-100% (w/m/d). The place of work is optionally Vaduz and/or Zurich.

In this position, you will work in a team as an interface between Compliance, the Front, and IT as a center of excellence and point of contact within the Europe organization. Specifically, you will take on the following tasks:

Project Work

  • Part project leadership and/or participation in group projects for the Europe region
  • Implementation of regulations - especially European investor protection regulations (e.g. MiFID II, FIDLEG) and Product Governance regulations - in close coordination with the business units and Compliance

Product Governance & Suitability

  • Taking over ownership including business support regarding investor protection rules and forms (e.g. investor profile)
  • Ensuring that the (pre-trade) mandatory documentation reflects the relevant regulatory requirements
  • Support of Product Governance and Suitability committees (e.g. Product Committees, Suitability Boards) by preparing decision-making bases
  • Participation in the definition of attributes and logic within Product Governance (e.g. target market attributes, risk classifications, fee data)

Test Management & Quality Assurance

  • Execution and/or coordination of system tests
  • Acceptance of implemented solutions from a business perspective

Co-Chair of the European Suitability Board

  • Joint leadership of the European Suitability Board, ensuring governance & regulatory compliance and consistent decision-making
  • Preparation and presentation of decision documents including minutes

Your Profile

  • Completed studies (university of applied sciences or university degree at Bachelor's or Master's level) and several years of experience in project management in the financial services sector
  • Good knowledge of relevant regulations in the European environment, e.g. MiFID II / FIDLEG, PRIIP and Product Governance requirements
  • Experience in collaborating with IT, including the creation of business requirements, functional specifications and use cases
  • Strong analytical skills, structured way of working, high affinity for data and regulatory details
  • Confident use of common MS Office tools (especially Excel, PowerPoint, Visio or comparable tools for process modeling)

  • Integrity, resilience, quick comprehension, and enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration with various specialists
  • Assertiveness in coordination with business units and IT, combined with the ability to cooperate
  • Affinity for practical implementation and execution of regulatory topics and problem-solving
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills
