A company is looking for a Remote Data Engineer to design and develop data ingestion processes for big data processing.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements into specifications for data ingestion processes
- Develop and implement data pipelines to support organizational initiatives
- Ensure data systems are efficient, scalable, and performant for data-intensive applications
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience building data ingestion processes and tools
- 5+ years of experience with DataBricks, Scala, Azure Data Factory, and SQL Server
- 5+ years of database experience with MS SQL Server
- 5+ years of experience in the healthcare industry with knowledge of data terminology and HIPAA protocols
- BS in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience; Microsoft Azure Certification is a plus
