Remote Lead AI/ML Engineer - Computer Vision

Our client is looking for a pioneering Lead AI/ML Engineer specializing in Computer Vision to join their innovative R&D team. This role is fully remote, providing a flexible and dynamic work environment for individuals passionate about pushing the boundaries of artificial intelligence. You will lead the development and deployment of advanced computer vision models and solutions, tackling complex challenges in areas such as image recognition, object detection, and video analysis. Responsibilities include designing and implementing machine learning algorithms, curating and managing large datasets, and conducting rigorous model evaluation and optimization. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch), computer vision libraries (e.g., OpenCV), and MLOps principles. You will mentor junior engineers, guide research directions, and collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to integrate AI capabilities into our offerings. A strong background in mathematics, statistics, and software engineering is essential. Publications in top-tier AI/ML conferences are a significant advantage. You must possess excellent problem-solving skills, a strong analytical mindset, and the ability to translate research concepts into production-ready systems. A Ph.D. or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related field, along with at least 7 years of relevant experience, is required.
