About the role

ABOUT US

For over twenty years, Thales has proactively deployed a strong corporate responsibility policy based on the highest international standards. This is in perfect agreement with the company's purpose adopted in 2020, "Let's build a future of trust together."

Through this approach, the Group responds to the demands of its clients, employees, investors, and financial markets for an ever more efficient, innovative, and responsible company. It also aligns with the current structuring evolutions of society for a more transparent and trusting relationship between companies and all their stakeholders.

WHO ARE WE?

S3NS was born from the industrial partnership between Thales, a global leader in cybersecurity, and Google Cloud, a global leader in cloud solutions. Our ambition is to offer the best of both worlds to all organizations concerned with protecting their sensitive data (public institutions, OIV, OSE...). That is, a solution equivalent to Google Cloud Platform (including both IaaS and PaaS services of GCP) and respecting the requirements of the SecNumCloud label.

A first offering, 'Local Controls with S3NS,' has been available since February 2023 to provide our clients with a first level of transparency and additional controls, and to accelerate the trajectory towards a trusted cloud.

YOUR MISSION

Within the TPCU team, your mission will be:

  • To participate in maintaining the trusted cloud and GCP services in operational condition. This run activity includes taking on-call shifts, processing alarms, and resolving incidents.
  • To participate in the evolution of key software components, systems, and functionalities in close collaboration with S3NS architects to improve the availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency of S3NS's Trusted Cloud services.
  • To implement, respecting the state-of-the-art in cybersecurity, all solutions and/or tools to improve the Trusted Cloud Platform offering: from architecture, development, deployment, to infrastructure operations.
  • To contribute to the design, development, and integration of automation and infrastructure monitoring solutions to enable us to scale our sensitive operations and critical processes.
  • To share best practices in design and SRE with other team members and apply the best coding standards.
  • To participate in building data value chains for implementing our Trust Services AND operating Google's data and AI services in a Trusted Cloud environment.

YOUR PROFILE

You have a Master's degree (Bac+5) in computer science and experience in:

  • Cisco (Catalyst, NX-OS, ACI, NCS...) and Cisco DevNet
  • Spine and Leaf architectures, with knowledge of VxLan and IPv6
  • Firewall technologies (Palo Alto, Fortinet...)
