It includes reporting, data governance, data engineering, and analysis, among other things. With your expertise as a Business Intelligence Engineer (m/f/d), you will model consistent data structures and actively work on the further development of our data warehouse, so that our business units can access high-quality and performant data. Responsibilities

• ETL Development: Build, maintain, and optimize stable ETL processes to ensure reliable and performant data flows.
• Data Modeling: Design and implement consistent, scalable data models as a basis for reporting, analytics, and operational systems.
• Programming: Implement technical requirements using ABAP, SQL, and other scripting languages to develop automated data processes.
• SAP BW: Further develop, maintain, and administer our SAP Business Warehouse, including monitoring and error analysis.
• SAP Datasphere: Contribute to the migration from SAP BW to SAP Datasphere and implement new data architectures within these transformation projects.
• System Administration: Operate, monitor, and further develop our data and BI systems, ensuring stability, performance, and security.
• Project Work: Technically implement data projects in close collaboration with business departments – from understanding requirements to productive implementation.

Profile

• Professional Qualification: Completed degree in Data Science, Business Intelligence, Statistics, Business Informatics, Computer Science, Economics, or a comparable field – supplemented by professional experience in a comparable role.
• ETL Know-how: Experience in building, maintaining, and optimizing ETL processes, as well as an understanding of performant data flows.
• Programming Skills: Good skills in ABAP, SQL, and ideally other scripting languages.
• SAP Expertise: Practical experience with SAP BW and motivation or initial experience with SAP Business Objects (BO / Web Intelligence - "Webi"), SAP Datasphere, and ideally SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
• Project & Communication Skills: Project management experience and good communication skills in German (B2/C1) and English (B1/B2).
• Tech Mindset: High affinity for data, strong analytical thinking, understanding of business processes, and interest in IT trends, tools, and AI technologies.
• Team Spirit & Work Approach: Proactive, analytical, and solution-oriented work approach combined with teamwork, structure, and a sense of responsibility.
