Security Engineer, Assessments and Testing (m/w/d) - J19450

Overview

You will work hands-on on technical security audits for products and infrastructures across various industries, directly contributing to the security of complex systems. Your work combines practical assignments such as penetration tests and hardware analyses with methodology development and meaningful reporting. You will use security and analysis tools as well as programming languages to identify and sustainably resolve vulnerabilities. Your Responsibilities

• Conduct technical security analyses and penetration tests using security and analysis tools such as Nessus, Burp, Metasploit, or Wireshark
• Analyze hardware components, firmware, and source code, including reverse engineering and vulnerability identification
• Create clear findings and practice-oriented recommendations for technical teams
• Coordinate with internal interfaces from technology, purchasing, and quality, as well as coordinate with external partners
• Develop testing methods and automations to increase efficiency
• Support knowledge transfer through workshops and team training
• Utilize modern collaboration and planning tools for project organization

Your Profile

• You already have practical experience with technical security audits, penetration tests, or vulnerability assessments
• You have sound knowledge of network technology and common protocols
• You are familiar with tools like Nessus, Burp, Metasploit, or Wireshark and use Python for analyses and automations
• You work analytically and meticulously, and formulate technical results understandably
• You speak fluent German and have good English skills
• You are a team player, eager to learn, and support cross-departmental improvement initiatives
