Security Engineer

Your role in the team

• You protect systems before something happens.

• As a Security Engineer, you are part of our Security & Defense division and work directly on securing customer and internal systems.
• You work closely with:
  • CISO
  • Cyber Defense
  • Cloud & Infrastructure Teams
  • Executive Management (for critical issues)

Your responsibilities

• Implementation and operation of security solutions (Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, firewalls, etc.)
• Hardening of servers, clients, and cloud environments
• Implementation of security baselines (M365, Azure, On-Prem)
• Analysis and assessment of security risks
• Support in Incident Response and Security Events
• Monitoring of systems and logs (SIEM, monitoring)
• Conducting security checks and audits
• Participation in security concepts and architectures
• Documentation of measures and standards

Salary

This position falls under the IT collective agreement:

• ST1 - Special Activities (Technical)
• Entry level ST1: € 3,267 gross per month
• Level ST1: € 3,954 gross per month
• ST1 Experience Level: € 4,476 gross per month

Security Engineers typically earn between €3,800 and €6,000+ gross per month, depending on experience.

TOMORIS offers significantly above the collective agreement, depending on:

• Understanding of Windows, networks, and cloud (Azure / M365)
• Knowledge of security technologies (Defender, Firewall, Identity, etc.)

• Professional German & English
• Knowledge of Zero Trust concepts
• PowerShell / Automation
• Certifications in the Security Field

Experience

• Experience in the IT security field
