The company is an innovative provider of IT solutions for public administration and employs around 300 people. In this role as Security Engineer, you will be part of a dedicated team that works on the further development and operation of a Cyber Defense Center. Your main tasks will include the support and administration of the security infrastructure, working with technologies such as Linux and Ansible. You will be responsible for monitoring, logging, and the use of SIEM systems, as well as the administration of Kubernetes (K8s). The work environment is characterized by a high degree of creative and innovative freedom, where you can actively contribute to improving the company's IT security. The team consists of six IT security professionals who work together competently, helpfully, and with a sense of humor. Requirements

The ideal candidate for this position has completed IT training or has a comparable qualification. You should have basic knowledge of containerization and Linux server administration. An interest in Security Operations is just as important as the willingness to learn new technologies. Furthermore, you should enjoy automation and have good German and English skills. Personal qualities such as teamwork, strong communication skills, and analytical thinking are of great importance for this role. You should be able to work independently and contribute innovative ideas for improving IT security.
