As a Senior Account Executive DACH, you will be responsible for end-to-end new logo closing in the enterprise segment throughout the MQL Opportunity Deal cycle. You will lead the account team (Solution & Value Engineers), structure complex, multi-stage deals around subscription licenses + recurring services, and clearly navigate non-category sales (new market data products) to a Closed-Won status. Substance over show. No talkers.

We are exclusively seeking a Senior Account Executive DACH (M/F/D) on behalf of our client, as part of their expansion in the DACH market and to meet increased inquiry volume. Your personal development is as important as the optimal harmonization of work, family, and leisure.

Responsibilities

  • Own the number: Systematically close new logos in the enterprise software environment; manage the MQL Opp Deal pipeline cleanly, and keep commitments.
  • Deal Leadership: Lead the account team (Solution/Value Engineers); identify pain points, develop value stories, and create business cases.
  • Non-Category Sales: Create demand in an early-stage market without relying on established paths; multi-threaded and C-level capable.
  • Subscriptions & Framework Agreements: Create and negotiate recurring offers (licenses/services); manage pricing logic, milestones, and conditions.
  • Stakeholder Orchestration: Manage the buying center (IT/Data/Legal/Procurement); ensure champion and executive buy-in alignment.
  • Field Presence: Represent the company at events, trade shows, and workshops; actively contribute to demand generation.
  • Handover & Hygiene: Maintain clean forecasts, CRM hygiene, and define next steps; collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, and Delivery.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of B2B enterprise sales experience with standard software and long-term services.
  • Proven success in complex, high-value deals with long sales cycles (> 500 k ARR).
  • Deep understanding of enterprise decision-making processes, clear pain diagnosis, and value argumentation.
  • C-level communication and strong negotiation skills at eye level.
  • Experience with data management/strategy (e.g., Data Products, Data Mesh, Data Compliance, Digital Transformation).
  • Nice to have: Deep experience in SaaS/Subscription sales; technical know-how around Snowflake, Databricks, Collibra, Informatica, Azure, AWS, dbt, BI/Analytics.
