About the role
As a General Accountant at our company, you will play a crucial role in managing day-to-day accounting operations and ensuring accuracy in financial reporting. Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining the general ledger and ensuring all financial transactions are properly recorded. - Performing monthly, quarterly, and annual closing and finalization of accounts. - Preparing and reviewing financial statements such as Balance Sheet, P&L, and Cash Flow. - Reconciling bank accounts, vendor ledgers, and other balance sheet accounts. - Handling accounts payable, accounts receivable, and journal entries.
Key Skills & Competencies required for this role:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles such as GAAP / Ind AS. - Hands-on experience in finalization of accounts. - Proficiency in Quick Book/ Xero. - Advanced knowledge of Excel and accounting software. - Analytical mindset with attention to detail. - Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
