Senior Accountant Manager Of Internal Accounting

As a Senior Accountant at Exein, you will have the opportunity to take full ownership of building the internal accounting function from scratch in a fast-scaling cybersecurity company. Your role will involve designing and implementing processes, controls, and workflows tailored to a high-growth SaaS environment, ensuring financial rigor and compliance with accounting standards. • *Key Responsibilities:** - Design and establish Exein's internal accounting department, setting up processes suitable for a high-growth SaaS environment. - Manage the full accounting cycle, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, accruals, intercompany transactions, and month-end/year-end close. - Record and maintain journal entries accurately using Oracle NetSuite. - Prepare consolidated financial statements in alignment with applicable accounting standards. - Ensure compliance with local tax and statutory reporting requirements. - Collaborate with external auditors, tax advisors, and corporate secretaries for audits and filings. - Work closely with the CFO on financial reporting, cash flow management, and internal controls. - Recruit and mentor a small accounting team as the function expands. • *Qualifications Required:** - 6+ years of accounting experience, preferably from Big 4 or mid-tier audit firms or multinational settings. - Hands-on experience with Oracle NetSuite, including journal entry workflows and financial reporting modules. - Proficiency in preparing consolidated financial statements and knowledge of IFRS and/or Italian GAAP. - Strong grasp of internal controls and accounting best practices. - Ability to thrive in an unstructured environment and establish organizational structure. - Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. - Proficiency in English and Italian, both written and spoken. • *Nice to Have:** - Experience in SaaS or tech industries. - Familiarity with multi-currency and multi-entity consolidations. - Previous involvement in setting up an accounting function or ERP system.
