Years of experience: 6 – 10 years

Impact / Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and lead automation frameworks for API & UI testing, web application testing, and end‑to‑end test automation.
• Deliver end‑to‑end test automation business deliverables for the team on a regular basis.
• Produce documentation for improved test strategy and procedures, covering functional, regression, performance, security, and other methodologies.
• Design test scenarios, write test cases, and conduct test case reviews; apply manual testing knowledge with deep understanding of the product and use cases.
• Communicate with business owners and stakeholders to ensure quality alignment.
• Lead QA activities, interact with stakeholders, and develop a deep understanding of business and customer use cases.

Requirements

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Seasoned QA with hands‑on experience in:
  • Core Java testing
  • Web Service / API testing and automation (REST)
  • Reporting, Jenkins, and AWS exposure
  • Web automation using Selenium, Protractor, or similar tools
• Hands‑on experience with performance testing (at least one tool).
• Database expertise: SQL and UNIX exposure.
• Experience with logs and monitoring tools such as Sumo, AppDynamics, or similar.
• Good to have: basic knowledge of AWS, Docker, Service Virtualization, and white‑box testing.
• Nice to have: Advanced Java (Spring, Hibernate).

Qualifications & Skills

• UG: B.Tech/B.E. or PG: M.S./M.Tech in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Solid understanding and prior use of automated testing practices and tools.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse, distributed product teams in an agile environment.
