Senior AI/ML Solutions Architect

Our client, a trailblazer in applying AI and Emerging Technologies to solve complex business challenges, is seeking a Senior AI/ML Solutions Architect to join their innovative team. This role will be instrumental in designing and architecting cutting-edge AI and machine learning solutions for a diverse range of clients. You will collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to understand business needs, translate them into technical requirements, and architect scalable, robust, and efficient AI/ML systems. The position is based in our Welkom office, with a flexible hybrid work arrangement.

Responsibilities: Designing end-to-end AI and machine learning solutions tailored to specific business problems and client requirements. Evaluating and selecting appropriate ML algorithms, tools, and platforms for various use cases (e.g., NLP, computer vision, predictive modeling). Architecting scalable and robust data pipelines for data ingestion, preprocessing, feature engineering, and model training. Collaborating with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and deployment of AI/ML models. Defining best practices for MLOps, including model deployment, monitoring, versioning, and retraining. Providing technical leadership and guidance on AI/ML strategy and implementation. Assessing technical feasibility and identifying potential risks and challenges in AI/ML projects. Staying abreast of the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, deep learning, and related technologies. Communicating complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences. Contributing to the development of reusable AI/ML components and frameworks. Qualifications: Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related quantitative field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in designing and implementing AI/ML solutions, with a strong focus on architectural design. Proven expertise in various machine learning techniques, including supervised, unsupervised, and deep learning models. Hands-on experience with major cloud AI/ML platforms (e.g., AWS SageMaker, Google AI Platform, Azure ML). Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in AI/ML (e.g., Python, R) and relevant libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn). Strong understanding of data engineering principles, big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop), and database systems. Experience with MLOps practices and tools. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and strategic thinking skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively. Experience in defining technical roadmaps and solution architectures for AI initiatives.
