Do you want to leverage the full potential of the cloud in Consulting – Cloud Engineering? Our team supports companies from strategy through the development and integration of future-proof applications to the transformation of large IT organizations towards more agility and the migration of complex IT landscapes to the cloud. Locations: Berlin, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt (Main), Hamburg, Hannover, Köln, München and Stuttgart.

Your Impact:

As a Senior Application Modernization Consultant (m/f/d), you will modernize critical IT landscapes, develop cloud-native target architectures, and derive transformation paths – acting as a technical sparring partner for your clients.

• Architecture Design: Develop cloud-based target architectures – from microservices to event-driven architectures – and contribute your expertise to architectural and technology decisions to drive transformations.
• Engineering: Implement modernization measures with high attention to quality, stability, and efficiency, and actively contribute to solving technical challenges – supported by your team and automation tools.
• Legacy Modernization: Together with your interdisciplinary team, transform complex legacy systems into scalable, secure cloud architectures and take responsibility for sub-topics within your area of expertise.
• AI & Innovation: Identify relevant AI use cases and tech trends, evaluate their benefit for your projects, and jointly create implementable, future-oriented solutions and services for our clients with your team.
• Consulting: Translate technical contexts for decision-makers, contribute your area of expertise, and support our clients as a technical sparring partner in the project context.

Your Skillset:

• Several years of professional experience (min. 3 years) in cloud technologies, software development, or modernization projects, ideally in a consulting environment
• Sound knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and an interest in modern deployment and automation approaches
• Practical programming experience in Java and extensive experience with microservices, containerization, and ideally legacy technologies
• Structured and analytical approach to complex issues, as well as the ability to explain technical content understandably to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Willingness to travel and excellent command of German and English (min. B2 level)
