What it's about?

For our continued growth, we are looking for you as a (Senior) AWS Cloud Consultant (m/f/d) full-time.

Do you feel as comfortable talking to clients as you do in the AWS cosmos? Do you enjoy regularly visiting clients on-site in Vienna (approx. 1-2 days per week), listening, understanding contexts, and creating real added value together?

Then this role might be exactly right for you.

In this position, you will act less as a classic "deep-dive techie" and more as a consulting, mediating, and coordinating partner at eye level. You will build close, trusting relationships with our clients, understand their professional, organizational, and technical challenges, and help them strategically leverage the full potential of AWS and the cloud.

Your goal: To advance the client holistically – technologically, organizationally, and strategically. You will proactively identify new topics, use cases, and fields of action and work closely with our technical experts, architects, and delivery teams.

What you will do:

• Consulting client role (Trusted Advisor): Build and maintain long-term client relationships with regular personal exchange on-site.
• Consultative Selling in the AWS context: Active listening, understanding client problems, and translating them into meaningful cloud and AWS use cases.
• Holistic Cloud Consulting: Support our clients with cloud strategies, organizational, and transformation issues around AWS – not just technically, but also professionally and economically.
• Coordination & Mediation: Interface between client, internal experts, and partners – you keep the threads together and ensure clarity and progress.
• Topic Identification & Development: Proactively identify potentials (e.g., modernization, cost optimization, innovation, security, data, AI) and drive these topics forward together.
• Workshops & Meetings: Conception and moderation of client workshops, strategy meetings, and decision-making rounds.
• Quality & Added Value: Ensure that AWS solutions provide real business value and have a lasting impact on the client.

Project examples from our PCG world:

• Supporting key accounts – not just technically, but as a strategic sparring partner for transformation, organization, and innovation.
• Assisting clients in further developing their cloud strategy, scaling, and sustainable use of AWS – always with a view to business goals and added value.

What we expect from you:

• Several years of experience in the AWS environment, ideally in consulting, customer-oriented roles.
• Solid technical understanding of AWS (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, basic architectural principles) – without the requirement to implement everything deeply yourself.
• Strong communication and consulting skills, and enjoyment of personal customer contact.
• Ability to communicate complex technical topics understandably, structurally, and appropriately for the audience.
• Experience in stakeholder management at various levels (IT, business departments, management).
• Structured, coordinating way of working and interest in holistic customer relationships.
• Very good German skills and confident communication in English.

Desirable:

• Experience with AWS frameworks (e.g., Well-Architected Framework, Cloud Adoption Framework).
• AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect – Associate) or the motivation to obtain them.
• Experience in consulting, presales, or advisory environments.
