Senior Cloud Engineer

The Role

A technical person in the team working with cloud technologies in Azure projects and operations with a focus on best practices, security and maintenance. The main focus of this Role is cloud services design, infrastructure as code definition, automated deployment (DevOps/CICD), automated operations, and security. Strong involvement and exposure to a broad range of cloud services and technologies is guaranteed.

The Must-have Skills

• Experienced with infrastructure as code and deployment automation.
• Strong experience with writing infrastructure as code with any of CDK, Terraform, and or CloudFormation (or other equivalent).
• Strong experience with automated deployment tooling with any of AWS Code Pipeline/Build (etc), Azure DevOps, and or GitLabCi (or other equivalent).
• Very good understanding of multiple cloud services in Azure.
• Experience with design of cloud solutions in Azure.
• Reasonable familiarity with servers operating systems, networking, data stores, databases, and identity access management.

The Nice-to-have Exposures

• Scripting
• Python
• PowerShell
• Azure AD integration with applications, cloud IAM, and cloud services.

The Work

• A cloud engineer working predominantly with Azure, who has been involved in analysis, design, planning and delivery on key client projects and engagements. This includes automated deployment of various applications stacks, ongoing configuration, and operations etc.
• A strong player in cloud service design, usage, optimization and administration within our organization.
• Working with the project delivery team in a distributed work environment where the work is delivered by team members, third party service providers and client personnel.
• Building knowledge of new technologies and techniques as they become relevant to the organization and our client projects.
