Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Azure Data Engineer, based in Cochin, SK. The professional will be tasked with designing, developing, and implementing data pipelines, data warehouses, and analytical tools in Azure environments. Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring the security and efficiency of the cloud-based data infrastructure, and troubleshooting data-related issues. Additionally, the role requires participation in the optimization of existing systems and contribution to improved data architecture to facilitate analytics and business intelligence requirements.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Azure technologies, including Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Databricks.
• Strong skills in data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
• Experience in programming languages such as Python, SQL, and familiarity with big data tools like Apache Spark.
• Proven ability to design and implement secure cloud architectures, with knowledge of cloud security best practices.
• Strong analytical skills for transforming complex data into actionable insights through visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment and communicate effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Azure Data Engineer Associate are a strong advantage.
• Prior experience in the industries that Experion serves, such as Healthcare, Retail, or BFSI, is a plus.
