Role Description

We are seeking a Senior Azure Engineer to join our Project Delivery team on a contract basis. This is a hybrid role based in Johannesburg/Durban, with opportunities for remote work. You will be instrumental in designing and implementing Azure solutions, managing infrastructure, optimising cloud systems, and providing technical leadership. Your responsibilities will include deploying secure and scalable cloud architectures, automating processes, monitoring performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Software Development and scripting for automation and deployment
• Expertise in Cloud Computing, particularly within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem
• Experience with Infrastructure management and optimisation
• Knowledge of Linux operating systems and administration
• Familiarity with managing and optimising Databases
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field
• Azure certifications and prior experience in hybrid work environments are advantageous
