About the role
Experteer Overview
As Senior Business Analyst, you will own the domain model for billing and cash management in a cloud-native solution. You will bridge business stakeholders and a small engineering team, guiding requirements, process modeling, and testable specs. You’ll work in an API-first, spec-driven environment on AWS with Kubernetes, shaping end-to-end flows from billing to reconciliation. You help ensure regulatory and operational controls are captured while coordinating workshops and UAT. This role offers impact across Corporate & FI customers as we replace a long-standing billing platform with modern tooling and AI-assisted processes.

- Produce clear, testable business specifications (user stories, acceptance criteria, OpenAPI-oriented specs)
- Drive spec-driven development workflows with Lead Developer and QA to ensure traceability from specs to tests
- Facilitate workshops with product owners and stakeholders across teams
- Coordinate QA and UAT, ensuring regulatory and operational controls are captured
- Serve as primary BA interface to engineering, QA/test automation and DevOps
Aufgaben
- Degree in Business, Finance, Informatics or related field, or equivalent experience
- Several years of business analysis experience; background in Cash Management, Corporate Billing, Payments or Treasury is a plus
- Strong experience with API-first thinking and OpenAPI/Swagger; familiarity with SpecKit/BeMad is a plus
- Proficient in BPMN process modeling; experienced with Jira/Confluence and writing functional specs and acceptance criteria
- Good technical understanding of REST APIs, Postgres, and modern deployment patterns; able to collaborate with engineers
- Excellent facilitation and stakeholder management; able to translate business needs into implementable specs
- Fluent in English; German is a plus
