We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic team and play a vital role in designing, building, and managing secure, scalable AWS infrastructure. You will focus on creating reusable platform capabilities, enhancing automation, and ensuring effective governance that empowers engineering teams to deliver reliable applications and data systems.

In this collaborative role, you will standardize infrastructure patterns, boost operational reliability with observability and runbooks, while maintaining security and compliance across AWS environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable AWS infrastructure leveraging services like S3, IAM, KMS, Lambda, API Gateway, VPC, and EventBridge.
• Build and maintain cloud-native data and application platforms using AWS services such as S3, Glue, Lambda, and Redshift or Snowflake.
• Engineer secure networking patterns, including VPC architecture and service-to-service communication.
• Implement encryption and key management practices for secure data handling.
• Establish access control models with AWS IAM and enforce least privilege principles.
• Implement platform governance using AWS Organizations and Control Tower.
• Ensure compliance standards and configuration baselines are met.
• Enhance observability through CloudWatch, metrics, and logging.
• Define service level indicators (SLIs) and objectives (SLOs), and implement automated remediation processes.
• Develop operational runbooks and incident response protocols.
• Deliver infrastructure-as-code solutions with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Integrate CI/CD pipelines for streamlined testing and deployment.
• Provide frameworks that boost application deployment efficiency in AWS.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, and data teams to enhance platform capabilities.
• Offer advanced technical support and lead post-incident reviews.

Experience Requirements

• 6 to 10+ years of experience in platform, cloud, or infrastructure engineering roles.
• Hands-on expertise with AWS services including S3, IAM, KMS, Lambda, API Gateway, VPC, and CloudWatch.
• Proven skills in designing and operating secure AWS setups.
• Strong foundations in security including identity management and network security.
• Expertise with Terraform or CloudFormation for infrastructure-as-code.
• Experience in building CI/CD pipelines with Git-based workflows.
• Scripting skills in Python or Bash.
• Implemented operational reliability and monitoring practices.
• Advanced troubleshooting experience in complex production systems.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes or container platforms is a plus.
• Experience with identity and federation protocols such as SAML, OAuth, or OIDC is preferred.
• Knowledge of AWS governance tools including Control Tower and Config is advantageous.
• Experience in regulated environments or standards like SOX, SOC 2, HIPAA, or GDPR is a plus.
• AWS certifications such as Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or Security Specialty are preferred.

Education Requirements

• AWS Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or Security Specialty certification is preferred.
