Responsibilities

• You advise our clients at eye level on cloud architectures, DevOps strategies, and platform concepts with a focus on sustainable, viable solutions rather than short-term workarounds.
• You conceptualize and accompany the setup of cloud service management platforms and integrate them into existing operational and governance models.
• You design target architectures for CI/CD, container, and infrastructure landscapes and translate business requirements into viable technical concepts.
• You advise on the introduction of DevOps practices, platform engineering approaches, and self-service models, from strategy to operationalization.
• You develop architecture decision templates, reference architectures, and governance concepts for monitoring, logging, and security in multicloud environments.
• You moderate architecture workshops, present at decision-maker level, and convince both IT executives and technical teams of your concepts.
• You take on technical leadership in complex consulting projects and contribute to the strategic further development of our cloud and DevOps consulting portfolio.

Qualifications

• You have a completed degree (e.g., in Computer Science or Business Informatics) or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience.
• Several years of consulting experience as a Cloud or DevOps Architect, ideally in the context of regulated industries.
• Deep conceptual understanding of cloud service management and brokerage platforms, as well as experience in integrating them into complex IT landscapes.
• Sound architectural knowledge of Kubernetes (OpenShift, Rancher), Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible), GitLab CI, and common hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Sovereign/Private Cloud (OpenStack).
• Experience in designing security architectures and identity concepts based on modern authentication methods (OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML).
• Methodological proficiency in architectural work, e.g., according to arc42, TOGAF, or comparable frameworks, and experience in creating architectural documentation and decision papers.
• Understanding of programming languages like Python, Go, or Java, sufficient to conduct technical discussions at eye level and classify concepts.
• You communicate and present confidently in German (C2) and English (at least B2).
• Your work style is characterized by a hands-on mentality, a high degree of self-motivation, and a service-oriented mindset.
• You are a team player, document clearly and comprehensibly, and actively share your knowledge.
• You actively follow trends and drivers in Cloud, DevOps, and Platform Engineering and bring new impulses into our consulting.
• Perhaps you already have the following certifications or will obtain them with us:
  • AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), PRINCE2 Agile Foundation, ITIL Practitioner
