Responsibilities
- You are responsible for the strategic product and sales management of our credit products with a focus on volume and margin optimization and manage product development and sales in a data-driven and customer-oriented manner.
- From market, competition, and performance analyses, you develop new business ideas using the bottom-up approach and derive well-founded decision-making bases for senior stakeholders.
- You translate your insights into performance, sales, and funnel into concrete measures for products, pricing, and sales.
- You continuously plan, manage, and monitor business, volume, and earnings targets and optimize sales and communication measures with a view to profitability and impact.
- In close cooperation with senior stakeholders and executive management, you distill complex topics into clear, convincing presentations.
- You enable fast, well-founded decisions at the highest level based on numbers and facts.
- At the same time, you keep an eye on the market and competition, simplify and improve sales processes, and set the strategic direction based on solid business cases and quantitative findings.
- In everything you do, you emphasize teamwork: You work with internal and external interfaces (e.g., Finance, Customer Interaction, Service, Risk), reliably bring your colleagues on board with your work instructions, guidelines, and procedural instructions, and ensure structured, scalable processes.
Profile
- Degree in economics, finance, mathematics, or a comparable quantitative qualification
- In-depth professional experience in consumer lending with a solid background in product and sales management
- Deep understanding of banking products and financial services
- Very good knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint and practical experience with analytical tools and programming environments (e.g., SAS, Python, R and/or dashboard and performance management solutions)
- Affinity for data, clear analytical thinking, and the ability to make well-founded decisions based on quantitative results
- Clear, structured way of working, strong focus on numbers, willingness to take responsibility with a clear focus on commercial results
- Proven ability to combine data-based analyses with effective sales and stakeholder communication
- Conceptual thinking and results-oriented action
- Enthusiasm for innovation and interest in developing sustainable, scalable, and economically viable solutions
- Open to cultural diversity in an internationally oriented environment
- Fluent German and English, both written and spoken
