About the role

As a Senior Cybersecurity Information Assurance Analyst at Medtronic, you will play a crucial role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating cybersecurity risks across the organization. Your expertise will be vital in risk management, compliance, and security strategy implementation to ensure the protection of sensitive data, especially in a highly regulated healthcare environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Define requirements for various aspects of cybersecurity including business continuity, operations security, cryptography, forensics, regulatory compliance, and more to protect company assets effectively. - Assess and mitigate system security threats and risks throughout the program life cycle. - Implement and validate security designs in hardware, software, data, and procedures. - Verify security requirements, perform system certification and accreditation planning and testing, and liaison activities. - Identify and assess cybersecurity risks through business analysis, propose solutions to mitigate those risks, and contribute to overall business continuity and security resilience. - Drive improvements in the GRC platform by automating workflows, integrating new tools, and optimizing risk management processes to increase operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.

**Qualifications Required:** - Minimum 8 years of experience in cybersecurity. - Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, regulatory requirements, risk management, and industry best practices. - Experience in executing key risk management activities, conducting risk assessments, and designing comprehensive risk management programs. - Knowledge of NIST risk assessments, regulatory changes, and trends impacting IT risk assessments. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, critical thinking abilities, and presentation skills. - Familiarity with GRC tools such as ServiceNow, LogicGate, or OneTrust. - Certifications: CISSP, CRISC, CISA.
