About the role
High Level Project Overview
We are seeking a senior implementation leader to drive delivery of enterprise data and analytics platforms from design through production and adoption. This role ensures initiatives are executed consistently, at scale, and with strong operational readiness. This is not a hands-on engineering role. Instead, it requires deep implementation experience and technical fluency to guide teams, manage dependencies, remove delivery blockers, and ensure platforms are production-ready, supportable, and adopted by the business.
What You’ll Do
- Lead end-to-end implementation of new and modernized data and analytics platforms.
- Translate strategic objectives into clear execution plans, milestones, and success criteria.
- Drive delivery through DataOps Engineers and Systems Analysts by providing direction, prioritization, and decision support.
- Ensure production readiness, including monitoring, support models, documentation, and operational handoffs.
- Coordinate across architecture, platform, governance, security, analytics, and business teams to align delivery.
- Partner with project managers to manage dependencies, sequencing, risks, and communication across initiatives.
- Ensure governance, security, quality, and compliance requirements are met.
- Provide practical implementation guidance to stakeholders without owning architecture decisions.
- Mentor delivery teams and influence outcomes through leadership and credibility.
Technology Environment
Experience implementing or supporting platforms across areas such as:
- Data Engineering (e.g., Talend, Informatica)
- Data Warehousing & Analytics (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Oracle Exadata)
- Data Virtualization (e.g., Denodo, Dremio)
- BI & Reporting (e.g., Power BI, Cognos)
- Data Catalog & Governance (e.g., Alation, Informatica)
- Data Observability & Access Controls
Required Experience & Skills
- 10+ years implementing and supporting enterprise data platforms
- 5+ years leading complex data, analytics, or technology transformation initiatives
- Proven success delivering large-scale implementations across multiple teams
- Strong DataOps and production support experience
- Ability to assess delivery risks and guide teams without hands-on coding
- Excellent communication and cross-team leadership skills
- People management experience is a plus

- Minimum of High School Diploma

Pay
$83.00 - $93.00 per hour
