What you'll do

Als (Senior) Data Engineer (all genders) gestaltest du unsere BI & Analytics-Projekte aktiv mit und entwickelst diese fachlich und inhaltlich weiter.

Development and Conception

• You develop customer-specific BI and Analytics solutions based on current methods and technologies.

Requirements Analysis and Implementation

• You structure and prioritize business requirements and successfully implement them into technical solutions.

Data Engineering

• You primarily work in the areas of Data Management and Data Processing – from data integration and management, through the construction of classic DWH systems, to hybrid architectures such as Data Lakehouse.

Data Modeling and Preparation

• You model data using various methods such as Data Vault or dimensional modeling and prepare it for further applications.

Visualization and Reporting

• You support data visualization with modern tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Pyramid Analytics and help promote data-driven decisions.

What we're looking for

• Completed studies in a scientific or technological field and at least three years of relevant project experience in the IT industry – ideally in consulting on current IT topics in the areas of Business Intelligence, Analytics, or AI.
• Technical Expertise: You have in-depth experience in data modeling (e.g., Data Vault, dimensional modeling), building analytics architectures, and data integration.
• Cloud Architectures: You have advanced knowledge of leading cloud environments such as Microsoft Azure/Fabric or Snowflake. In particular, in-depth expertise and project experience in Databricks are mandatory.
• Data Integration and Processing: You are familiar with common data management tools (Azure Data Fabric, Oracle Data Integrator, Informatica, etc.) and streaming technologies like Apache Kafka.
• Databases: You are proficient in using relational and multidimensional databases such as Oracle, MS SQL Server, Exasol, or Postgre SQL.
• Programming and BI Skills: You are familiar with SQL, Python, or R and have experience with tools like Power BI, Tableau, Qlik Sense, or Pyramid Analytics.
• Methodological Skills: You are familiar with requirements analysis and the conception and implementation of modern data management processes as well as reporting, analysis, and dashboard solutions.
• Travel Readiness & Flexibility: Primarily remote assignments are planned in coordination with the client, but you are willing to travel when necessary (e.g., sprint changes, workshops, etc.).
