Are you a Senior Data Engineer who enjoys building scalable cloud data solutions, modernising legacy environments, and influencing the direction of a growing data platform?

A rapidly expanding Fintech organisation is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join their team and play a key role in the development of their cloud-based data ecosystem.

This is a hands-on engineering role where you’ll design and optimise modern ETL/ELT pipelines, improve data architecture, and support the migration from legacy systems into Snowflake and AWS environments. You’ll work closely with both technical teams and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, reliable, and business-focused data solutions.

The environment is collaborative, fast-paced, and focused on continuous improvement, with strong opportunities to grow into a Lead position as the team expands.

Your Mission

• Design, build, and optimise scalable ETL/ELT pipelines

• Support migration projects into Snowflake/AWS environments

• Develop and maintain modern data warehouse solutions

• Improve data quality, platform reliability, and performance

• Work closely with stakeholders to deliver reporting and analytics solutions

• Contribute to architecture and long-term platform strategy

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years’ experience in Data Engineering

• Strong SQL Server expertise

• Hands-on experience with Snowflake and/or AWS

• Experience building modern cloud-based data platforms

• Strong understanding of data modelling and warehousing

• Experience with DBT or similar frameworks

• Exposure to AI technologies is an advantage
