Senior Data Engineer (Python / dbt / Snowflake)

About the role

Our client is a fast-growing analytics startup serving enterprise customers. They are hiring a Senior Data Engineer to own the data platform: ingestion, modeling, and serving. Full-time, on-site in Berlin.

What you will do

• Own ELT pipelines from source systems into the warehouse

• Build and maintain dbt models powering product and analytics

• Design schema and modeling conventions for downstream consumers

• Operate Airflow / dbt Cloud / Snowflake reliably with strong testing

• Partner with analysts and product engineers on data contracts

What we are looking for

• 5+ years in data engineering on a modern warehouse stack

• Strong Python and SQL fundamentals

• Hands-on with dbt and at least one cloud warehouse (Snowflake / BigQuery / Redshift)

• Comfortable with orchestration tools (Airflow / Dagster / Prefect)

• Bonus: streaming experience (Kafka / Materialize / RisingWave)
