Senior Data Governance Consultant

About

This role supports the Environment and Protected Areas ministry in developing an operational data management system. This system will encompass governance, identification of new data from policy/legislation updates, development of KPI, and quality assurance/control processes for the Digital Regulatory Assurance System (DRAS) Program.

Location

Based out in Edmonton, AB | Work can be done remotely within Alberta only. Once a quarter meeting to Edmonton will be required.

Duties

• Support Environment and Protected Areas ministry in developing operational data management system that includes governance, identification of new data from policy/legislation updates, development of KPI and quality assurance/control processes for the Digital Regulatory Assurance System (DRAS) Program.

Professional Licenses/Certification

• Active certification in CAPM, PMP or PgMP as issued by the Project Management Institute or equivalent and/or an active CMC designation as issued by a member institute of the International Council of Management Consulting Institutes or equivalent.

Work Experience

• Experience in the design, development and implementation of a digital transformation initiative or digital delivery program
• Experience with the development of information management or related types of policies, standards and practices.
• Experience leading an organization through a large scale technology change impacting all levels of the organization.
