About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist/AI Engineer on a permanent contract for a scale-up specializing in the development of cutting-edge technological solutions in France.

As a Data Scientist/AI Engineer, your role will be to participate in the design and development of cutting-edge Data Science solutions – in custom project mode or product mode – with a high impact on our clients, their users, and society.

The position is based near La Défense in the 92.

Responsibilities

• Contribute technically to the realization of Data Science projects - data preparation, modeling, ML Engineering and/or deployment - in our areas of intervention: RAG, chatbot, NLP, LLM/VLM
• Work on the steering and improvement of our risk scoring models through feature engineering as well as by testing and implementing the latest state-of-the-art ML/IA models.
• Implement LLM-based approaches to extract insights from our textual data and improve the accuracy of our scoring model.
• Participate in project management, client relations, and technical choices on projects.
• Conduct technological watch and be proactive on new trends in AI.
• Participate in the development of cross-functional internal projects: literature reviews, experience sharing, training.

Qualifications

• You are a graduate of a top engineering school or a top business school.
• You have at least 3 years of experience in data science, ideally in the Fintech environment.
• You have perfect command of Python, SQL and Machine Learning frameworks (scikit-learn, mflow, pytorch, etc).
• You are familiar with LLMs / deep learning frameworks such as langchain, huggingface, etc.
• You have an entrepreneurial spirit and enjoy solving problems.
• You demonstrate rigor, you know how to produce and deliver work in a demanding environment.
• You are an excellent communicator, well-organized and proactive.
