About the role
Our client, a globally recognized leader in advanced technology solutions, is seeking a highly innovative and experienced Senior Data Scientist specializing in AI and Machine Learning to join their fully remote team. This pivotal role will drive the development and implementation of cutting-edge predictive models and intelligent systems that address complex business challenges. The ideal candidate will possess a deep theoretical understanding of machine learning algorithms, strong practical experience in deploying ML models, and a passion for pushing the boundaries of artificial intelligence.
Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement advanced machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex business problems across various domains. Lead end-to-end data science projects, from data acquisition and preprocessing to model deployment and monitoring. Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify patterns, trends, and insights from large, complex datasets. Build and validate predictive models using techniques such as deep learning, natural language processing (NLP), reinforcement learning, and computer vision. Develop robust feature engineering strategies to improve model performance. Collaborate closely with engineering, product management, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into data science solutions. Deploy machine learning models into production environments, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance. Design and implement A/B testing frameworks and other experimental methodologies to evaluate model effectiveness. Stay at the forefront of AI and ML research, identifying and evaluating new techniques and technologies. Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to the team's technical growth and knowledge sharing. Communicate complex technical findings and recommendations clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences. Develop and maintain documentation for data science models, methodologies, and processes. Contribute to the development of the company's AI strategy and roadmap. Ensure data privacy and security best practices are implemented throughout the data science lifecycle. Champion data-driven decision-making across the organization. Qualifications: Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, or a related quantitative field. Minimum of 6 years of experience in data science, with a strong focus on AI and machine learning. Proven experience in developing and deploying ML models in production environments using frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn. Expertise in programming languages such as Python or R, including relevant data science libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, SciPy). Strong understanding of statistical modeling, experimental design, and hypothesis testing. Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) is a plus. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their ML services. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences. Demonstrated ability to work independently and lead projects in a remote setting. Publications in top-tier ML conferences or journals are a significant advantage.
