Join our dynamic team as a Senior Data Scientist in the AI Services and Platforms (AIPS) unit, where your expertise will drive innovative AI-based solutions for our enterprise clients. Your work will be key in enabling cutting-edge AI-driven innovations within the company, serving as an internal provider of AI solutions and infrastructure.

In this pivotal role, you'll transform business needs into effective AI solutions that align with our strategic objectives. Your responsibilities will include crafting first-rate AI and agent evaluation capabilities, collaborating across teams such as Business Stakeholders, Data Science, Engineering, Responsible AI & Governance, and Product to ensure comprehensive AI developments.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Generative AI and Predictive AI, with a proven ability to tackle complex problems. You will play a crucial role in leading our digital transformation efforts, utilizing the power of Generative AI to extract valuable insights from diverse datasets. We seek a professional with a deep understanding of AI techniques and robust data science skills. You should be proactive in researching and applying the latest innovations in AI, including Gen AI and agentic AI within healthcare technology. Excellent communication skills will be essential for conveying technical findings to our business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with business teams to understand their processes and objectives, identifying how analytical solutions can create value.
• Outline new use cases and provide high-level impact estimates.
• Identify necessary data elements and sources, including proxies.
• Independently assemble datasets using operational and analytic knowledge.
• Deliver analytical solutions to complex business challenges.
• Document objectives, assumptions, and processes in accordance with organizational standards.
• Select and apply appropriate advanced modeling and machine learning techniques to deliver actionable business insights.
• Translate results of analyses into comprehensible insights for the business through written reports, presentations, and visualizations.
• Coordinate all analysis elements to ensure timely delivery to a high standard ready for implementation.
• Research and develop new analytical skills, maintain relationships to facilitate knowledge transfer, and collaborate with fellow data scientists on projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education

Required:

• Master's Degree in Analytics, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, or closely related field; OR a Bachelor's degree with 3 years of experience.

Experience

Required:

• 2 years of relevant Data Science experience; or 0 years if holding a PhD.

Preferred:

• Experience in staying current with research and innovation opportunities, experimenting with new approaches in Generative AI.
• 3+ years experience using Python for AI/ML development.
• Experience with AI/ML model deployment on platforms such as AWS Sagemaker, Azure ML, or Vertex AI.
• Familiarity with LLM orchestration tools for developing relevant applications.
• Experience in designing and implementing evaluations of AI/ML solutions with a focus on Responsible AI.
• Ability to apply creative problem-solving to business challenges across multiple platforms.
• Strong communication skills for effectively conveying AI solutions to stakeholders.

Travel Requirement: 0% - 25%

Pay Range Minimum: $102,700.00

Pay Range Maximum: $164,600.00
