Dive in and thrive!As (Senior) Data Scientist / AI/ ML Engineer - Energy Grid Forecast (all genders) you will be part of a cross functional engineering squad with strong knowledge in energy grid calculations, time series data processing and AI-based forecasting. Your and your squads mission is to develop time series forecasts for grid congestions in low voltage grids. Based on weather forecasts, historical data, external sensor data and a digital twin model of the electricity grid, your team will prepare a prognosis of expected grid utilizations, provide them to external stakeholders via APIs and develop an user interface to visualize these results within our software product. Within your role, you will drive the energy transition in an innovative project and directly influence the experience of our users, our organization, and our engineering practices.• You are part of a cross-functional team (backend, frontend, data, ML, Product) and develop an innovative product which actively drives the energy transition • You design, refine, and implement AI/ML models to produce time series forecasts based on various input data such as weather forecasts, historical power data or external sensor data in accordance with the current state of technology and best practices • You develop strategic pathways for evolving the product's tech stack to state of the art solutions, especially in the area of AI/ML technologies and workflows • You are part of the conceptualizing and developing of professional software solutions to continuously evolve our product in an agile working environment together with the other cross-functional squads in the engineering department • You have ambitious quality objectives and accompany the entire development process, from concept over implementation through testing to go-live Perfection is a myth!
