Your Tasks

• Development, training and fine-tuning of machine learning models in German
• Collaboration with data engineers to create robust data pipelines
• Use of models in production environments or prototypes
• Ensuring the reproducibility of the models, including documentation
• Selecting suitable algorithms for specific business challenges
• Conducting cross-validations and backtesting of the models
• Ensuring compliance with ethical AI guidelines and data governance requirements.
• Explanation of model results for users
• Mentoring of less experienced data scientists

Your Profile

• University degree in computer science or a related field
• Solid knowledge of Python
• Knowledge of various machine learning methods, e.g., decision trees, ensembles, neural networks, clustering, and Splunk.
• Experience in collecting, analyzing and interpreting large amounts of data
• Good understanding of MS SQL for data analysis and database optimization.
• Experience with big data platforms, e.g. Hadoop or Spark, is an advantage.
• Fluent German and English skills, both spoken and written.
