Senior Data Scientist/engineer

As a Senior Data Engineer at our capital markets technology solutions and services firm in Chennai, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and deploying enterprise-scale data solutions. Your responsibilities will include:

- Designing and delivering end-to-end data solutions from ingestion to analytics and reporting - Building and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines using Matillion, Fivetran, SQL, and Python - Developing scalable data models to support analytics and BI use cases - Working extensively with Snowflake, including automated and continuously refreshed pipelines - Analyzing and documenting existing data architectures, lineage, and dependencies - Collaborating with project managers, analysts, data scientists, and client stakeholders - Implementing data governance, quality, and regulatory compliance standards - Creating automation workflows for orchestration, scheduling, monitoring, and validation - Producing detailed design, test, and deployment documentation - Supporting production deployments and resolving end-to-end defects

You should have: - Minimum 78 years of robust hands-on experience in Data Engineering, Data Management & Business Intelligence - Strong technical expertise in Snowflake, AWS and/or Azure, SQL Server, Oracle, Python, Snow Park, Py Spark - Experience with ETL tools like Matillion, Fi

Please note that this role requires working in the UK Shift from 1:30 PM 11:00 PM IST with occasional weekend or after-hours support during deployments or production issues. Freshers or entry-level candidates need not apply for this position.
