Role and Responsibilities
The Senior Brand Designer plays a pivotal role in shaping the visual identity of the Pepsi brand. This role works closely with design leaders, cross-functional teams, and external partners to deliver impactful design solutions across packaging, product, and consumer experiences.
Brand Design Development:
- Support the visual identity system for the Pepsi brand and its sub-brands
- Execute creative design solutions across packaging, product, digital, and brand experiences
- Generate compelling design concepts that align with brand strategy
- Collaborate with stakeholders and agencies to ensure consistent brand expression
- Translate consumer and market research insights into visual strategies
- Guide final design decisions and approvals to ensure execution excellence
Design Project Management:
- Lead and manage end-to-end brand design projects from ideation to delivery
- Work cross-functionally with marketing, R&D, innovation, and supply chain teams
- Align stakeholders throughout the creative process to meet timelines, budgets, and brand standards
- Support development and implementation of design guidelines and systems
External Design Network:
- Engage with PepsiCo’s external design partners to scale innovation and creativity
- Provide creative direction and feedback to agencies and freelancers
- Ensure delivery of high-quality, on-brand design work from external collaborators
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or related field
- 4+ years of relevant design experience, including work at a design agency or in-house team
- Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Strong portfolio showcasing brand, packaging, and system design
- Experience working in fast-paced, cross-functional environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with 360 brand design (print, digital, packaging, environmental)
- Strong typography and conceptual design skills
- Experience with AI-powered creative tools and motion graphics
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Compensation and Benefits
- Base Salary Range: $76,400 – $127,850 (based on location, skills, and experience)
- Bonus: 8% of annual salary (performance-based, paid annually)
- Paid Time Off: vacation, sick leave, parental leave, and bereavement (subject to eligibility)
