senior DevOps / Platform Engineer
Draft & Goal
Hybrid Full-time Senior Today
About the role
About the Role
We're looking for a senior DevOps / Platform Engineer to own and evolve the infrastructure underpinning our AI-native SaaS platform. You'll work directly alongside the founding team on a Kubernetes-first, GitOps-driven stack running on GCP — managing everything from data infrastructure to ML workloads to multi-tenant deployments.
This is a hands‑on IC role with broad ownership. You'll be responsible for reliability, observability, security, and developer experience across the platform.
What you will Own
- Kubernetes platform — cluster management, workload tuning, and resource optimization across production and staging
- GitOps & deployments — Argo CD application lifecycle, Helm chart development, progressive delivery
- Infrastructure as Code — Terraform + Terragrunt for cloud resources and service provisioning
- Data infrastructure — relational, OLAP, object storage, and event streaming
- ML/AI workloads — LLM deployment pipelines, batch inference orchestration
- Observability — metrics, logging, alerting, and dashboards across the full stack
- Security & networking — service mesh, ingress, secrets management, and runtime security posture
Required
- 10+ years in IT with 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering
- Deep Kubernetes expertise in production environments
- Terraform/Terragrunt proficiency
- Hands‑on GitOps experience (Argo CD or Flux)
- GCP fluency — GKE, GCS, IAM, …
- Strong networking fundamentals (DNS, TLS, ingress, service meshes)
- Experience operating databases in production (Postgres or similar)
- Python and Golang fluency
Nice to Have
- OLAP or columnar databases (ClickHouse, BigQuery, Redshift)
- Multi‑cloud setups
- Security tooling (runtime threat detection, secrets management)
What success looks like after 90 days
- Fully ramped — you can ship changes, trace issues, and debug the stack independently
- At least one reliability or cost improvement shipped
- Observability gaps identified and addressed
Why join us?
- Build an AI‑Native Future: Design from the ground up, scaling the core infrastructure that powers complex LLM pipelines and ML workloads.
- True Architectural Authority: Work directly with the founding team, bypass corporate red tape, and own the technical roadmap.
- A Pure, Modern Stack: Kubernetes‑first, GitOps‑driven culture (GCP, GKE, Argo CD, Terraform, Golang).
- Perks: Flexible hybrid work environment in Montreal, deep focus on developer experience, and growth alongside a cutting‑edge product.
Additional Information
- Full‑time role based in France; candidates must have valid work permits.
- Please send your CV and letter of introduction to assistants@dng.ai.
- Only candidates considered for the position will be contacted.
