Responsibilities
- Design, build and support cloud environments to create digital products
- Monitor and assess the performance of applications in a cloud environment to ensure solutions are available
- Create, test and implement safeguards to maintain data integrity and protect against unauthorized access.
General Skills
- Experience in one of the leading cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud, etc
- Experience in maintaining complex Linux cloud environments like CentOS, Ubuntu, or CoreOS
- Experience supporting modern web technologies such as LAMP, MEAN, Drupal and Elasticsearch
- Experience with development tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Maven and Jenkins
- Experience in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, PHP, Java, JavaScript, Node
- Experience with build tools such as Git, Ansible, Chef, Puppet
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker
- Integration experience using APIs
- Experience with web, architectural and security standards and best practices
- Experience with mobile device management
Experience and Skill Set Requirements:
Cloud Infrastructure & AWS
- Design, provision, and manage AWS infrastructure including VPCs, subnets, security groups, IAM policies, EC2, ECS, EKS, RDS, S3, Route 53, and CloudFront
- Architect multi-account AWS environments following AWS best practices
- Manage cost optimization strategies including Reserved Instances and Savings Plans
- Implement CloudTrail, GuardDuty, Config, Security Hub, and SCPs
Infrastructure as Code — Terraform
- Develop and maintain Terraform modules
- Manage Terraform Cloud workspaces and state
- Implement drift detection and policy-as-code
- Conduct code reviews and enforce standards
Configuration Management — Ansible
- Develop and maintain playbooks and roles
- Automate deployments using CI/CD integration
- Manage inventories and credential security
- Ensure consistent and reliable automation
Container Platform — OpenShift ROSA
- Operate OpenShift ROSA clusters
- Implement RBAC and security policies
- Deploy using Helm, Operators, Kustomize
- Ensure cluster security compliance
CI/CD Pipelines
- Design CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI and Azure DevOps
- Implement GitOps using ArgoCD
- Integrate security scanning tools
- Maintain pipeline standards
Security & Compliance
- Implement secrets management (AWS Secrets Manager)
- Enforce least privilege access
- Support vulnerability management and incident response
Observability & Reliability
- Monitor systems using CloudWatch
- Define SLIs and SLOs
- Troubleshoot incidents and perform root cause analysis
- Maintain runbooks and documentation
Must Have:
- AWS infrastructure (VPC, EC2, IAM, etc.)
- Terraform Infrastructure as Code
- Ansible automation
