Senior DevOps Engineer

Position Description

The Senior Software Engineer will lead in the delivery and maintenance of mission-critical applications and services that support City Government initiatives. The Senior DevOps Engineer has a strong focus on .NET technologies to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance applications and will play a key role in driving our software initiatives forward.

Primary responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of robust, scalable, and maintainable .NET applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand and refine requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and leadership to the development team, ensuring best practices are followed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues and bugs in a timely manner.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Develop and maintain integration's with third-party systems and APIs.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and continuously improve development processes and standards.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.
• Microsoft .NET/Azure development stack - recent 8 year(s)
• Application Development - 5 year(s)
• Application Development Lead - 2 year(s)
