The Software Data Solutions & Analytics department realizes data-centric projects in customer and in-house operations. From testing the latest scientific findings from the fields of AI and Data Science to implementing crisis-relevant enterprise solutions for several thousand users, we cover the entire spectrum of modern data-driven systems. Our focus is on Data Science, AI & Machine Learning, their architectures, and the associated full-stack software development.

Responsibilities

• Responsibility for the architecture, implementation, and operation of a modern software development platform based on Kubernetes and cloud-native principles
• Monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous optimization of the container-based platform during ongoing operation
• Support and migration of existing software development platforms in different security domains
• Securing the platform in accordance with IT-Grundschutz and creation and maintenance of information security concepts
• Participation in agile, virtual teams across multiple locations

Requirements

• Completed degree in computer science or comparable training
• At least five years of relevant professional experience in a DevOps environment
• Very good knowledge of automation with Ansible and administration of Linux server systems
• In-depth experience with Kubernetes and container technologies
• Practical experience with common CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab, GitLab-CI, SonarQube, Nexus, Harbor) and in creating and maintaining build pipelines
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Ruby and experience with shells like Bash or PowerShell
• Structured, careful, and independent way of working
• Strong team and communication skills as well as organizational talent
• Analytical thinking, decisiveness, and high frustration tolerance
• Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
